About us
U3A Bendigo is a group of people who join together for the purpose of teaching and learning from each other. We meet up and have fun engaging in intellectual, social and physical activities to keep our minds and bodies active, through our lives' third or 'mature age'.
U3A stands for University of the Third Age and groups are run all over the world. There are over one hundred groups in Victoria alone! You don't need qualifications to join and we don't give out certificates. For members, our courses are FREE. We don't charge to attend our activities.
U3A Bendigo runs over 40 different courses and activities each year. In 2016, we formed a Technology Support Team, a dozen members, who run a Learning About Your Technology workshops, user groups and information sessions to support members endeavouring to improve their digital competencies.
